DISCOVERY 400 HANDLEBAR/CAMERA PACK - We designed the Discovery 400 as a handlebar pack that is complimentary in use with our panniers. It is an extremely rigid, semi hard-shell case that is foam lined. The Discovery 400 is the most stable handlebar pack ever built. It features a rounded, aerodynamic shape, with a 330-degree access zipper. Its design includes two interior pockets, and a highly useful map pocket, which is removable, and which has a very handy access zipper. We outfit the Discovery 400 with a rain cover that has a vinyl window, which allows you to read maps while you're riding in the rain. We recommend our top-of-the-line model for carrying lightweight cameras, maps, munchies and small items that you want convenient access to. We suggest that our handlebar packs be used to carry two to three pounds of gear. The Discovery 400 is the ultimate handlebar pack for individuals who know how to use handlebar packs wisely and effectively.EL 350 HANDLEBAR PACK - A simplified version of the Discovery 400 that lacks a foam-lined interior, and that has a much simpler map case that is not removable.
RBD SOLAR SYSTEM - The RBD Solar System battery recharger was designed for long-distance tourists that use a lot of batteries with flashlights, radios and tape players, bicycle lights and other gadgets. It consists of a small pouch that we build and attach to our panniers, and a Real Goods 50-212 Super Charger recharging unit. The RBD Solar System is an extremely useful and effective way to reduce the cost of using batteries from nine cents per hour to less than 1/10 of a cent. It is a custom option that cannot be retrofitted to our panniers. For use with AAA, AA, C, and D sizes. (Batteries not included)
HOTFOOTS - Shoe covers are essential for touring, or riding in cold or wet weather. Hotfoots are our shoe cover for cycling when the weather turns from bad to worse. They are designed to fit a very wide range of touring shoe sizes. Unlike shoe covers made of neoprene wetsuit material, Hotfoots are designed to keep shoes and socks completely dry when their seams are properly sealed. We build Hotfoots in a non-insulated version for three-season use and an insulated model for year-round cycling. Hotfoots are extremely well-made and sturdily constructed for a lifetime of use. Available in five sizes.
