SAKKIT EXPEDITION 26 - Our original fully integrated touring bike. A wealth of touring experience is the foundation of its unique design. The Expedition 26 was designed for touring paved roads, dirt roads and for single-track touring. Its ruggedly built, lugged and silver-brazed frame represents a unique blend of comfort and the ability to carry very heavy loads in off-road conditions. It features a very long wheel base and a superb blend of tubing that generates the highest level of comfort possible without resorting to the use of suspension. Features like an eight-degree sloping top tube and a wide range of custom head tube extensions enhance its performance. Like all of our fully integrated touring bikes the Expedition 26 incorporates the very finest touring racks available, our own Sakkit touring racks as well as our famous RBD panniers, long considered the standard by which all other panniers are measured. Our custom frames represent the very finest workmanship with a wide range of options to satisfy the needs of the most experienced world travelers. We designed the Expedition to be the most versatile touring bike ever built. SAKKIT EXPEDITION 700 - The same bike as the Expedition 26, but built for 700c wheels and lacking a fourth water bottle behind the seat tube.

SAKKIT ODYSSEY 700 - The Odyssey 700 is designed as a responsive touring and commuting bicycle for those who travel primarily on paved roads. Although similar in design to other touring bicycles that are described as bicycles for widely variable conditions, we consider our other models more suitable for riding dirt roads and single-track touring. The Odyssey 700 is designed with quicker steering than the Expedition 26, shorter chain stays (44- or 45-cm) and, as its name implies, its a touring bicycle built for 700c wheels. Because all of our bicycles are custom, we have the option of building this bicycle as one for light touring or we can easily alter the frame to accept expedition loads. The Odyssey 700 comes with all Sakkit features and options including half-step gearing, a redundant lighting system that is either powered by a high quality Nordlicht or Busch and Muller bottle dynamo, or a Schmidt hub generator. It's available with a combination of Shimano 105/Deore LX or Shimano Ultegra/Deore XT components groups. It's also available with custom components of your choice.
